Privacy and cookies

The ORLAGH’S website and app share one account and one secure database, so the ORLAGH’S privacy notice covers both: what we hold, why, how long we keep it, who processes it, and your rights.

Cookies and storage on this website

Sign-in cookies (strictly necessary): keep you signed in securely. They’re only set when you sign in, and removed when you sign out.
Your basket (stored in your browser): remembers what you’ve added to the shop basket on this device. It never leaves your browser until you place an order.
Who visits (no cookie): when you open a page, we note which page, the website that sent you here (or the name of our link you followed, such as a leaflet’s QR code), whether you’re on a phone, tablet or computer, and roughly where you are (the town and country our web host gives for your internet connection, never your exact location). If you’re signed in, we know it was you. Only the ORLAGH’S owner sees this, so we can tell how people find us; it’s deleted after 90 days.
Where members come from: when you’re signed in, the source of your visit (for example a search engine, one of our campaign links or an AI assistant) is remembered against your account, so ORLAGH’S can see which marketing works. It’s only ever shown as totals, never by name, to the owner and the ORLAGH’S marketing team. It’s deleted after 13 months.
Messages you send us: the “Message us” chat sends your name, email address and messages to the ORLAGH’S owner, by email and in the ORLAGH’S app, so we can reply. If you’ve left the website when we answer, we email the reply to you. Your browser keeps a random code so you can carry on the chat; “Start a new chat” removes it. We keep the chat for 12 months.
Marketing emails (only if you say yes): we’ll only send you news, tips and offers if you switch on Marketing emails, and we record the wording you agreed to and when. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can stop any time in Settings. Once an address has unsubscribed, it isn’t sent marketing emails again unless you switch them back on yourself. Booking and account emails aren’t marketing and still arrive.
No advertising or tracking cookies. We don’t use advertising pixels or sell data.

Your dog’s information

Medical details, your address, contact details and bookings are only visible to you, people you share your dog with, and the ORLAGH’S team caring for them. Other community members see only what you choose to show on your Passport.

Your rights

You can download a copy of your data or delete your account from the app (My profile), or request deletion here. Questions: info@orlaghs.com.
