Running late at work? Swept away on a once-in-a-lifetime date? Don’t worry — ORLAGH’S has your back! We provide convenient at-home welfare checks to make sure your furry friend is safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.
For your convenience, we can also collect keys from a location of your choice within a 5-mile radius of ORLAGH’S, giving you complete peace of mind without any stress. Because we know life happens — and your dog’s comfort and care should never be compromised.

What is a Welfare Check?

How much does a Welfare Check cost?
From £13.50 per visit. You choose 15 minutes, 30 minutes or 1 hour when you book. Up to 3 dogs per booking. The price for your booking is shown before you send the request.
How do I book a Welfare Check?
Choose Check availability on this page to pick a time and send a booking request. When we confirm it, you’ll get a notification to pay. New dogs start with a free Meet & Greet before their first booking, so we understand their history, routine and personality first.
Can I cancel a Welfare Check booking?
Free to cancel 24 hours or more before. Less than 24 hours before, or not turning up: the full price. Any charge is reduced if we can fill the place.
Which areas do you cover?
We work within about 5 miles of ORLAGH’S, depending on the service, with the most availability in EH7. If you are further out — Midlothian, for example — ask us; we’ll tell you honestly whether we can help.
