The First Days & Daily Routine

A calm welcome, the first week, a sample daily schedule and fresh water.

This guide is for information only. It doesn’t replace advice from your vet or a qualified behaviourist — if you’re ever worried, call your vet.

Lesson 1

A calm welcome

Your puppy’s first days are a big change. Plan a calm welcome — limit visitors and overstimulation. Book a vet check-up within the first 48 hours. Begin crate and potty training straight away and set a feeding and potty schedule from day one. The ORLAGH’S scented blanket carries the smell of mum and littermates, which can be a real comfort at bedtime.
